The psychometric exam is aimed at assessing the applicant's moral readiness for studying a medical specialty. It identifies personal qualities such as empathy, ethics, stress resistance, communication skills, and others necessary for successful work in medicine.
The exam is held for the following Educational Programs:
- "General Medicine"
- "Pediatrics"
- "Dentistry"
- "Public Health"
- "Nursing"
Exam dates:
from June 30 to July 13 – for applicants applying for a state educational grant;
from June 30 to August 20 – for applicants applying on a paid basis.
Instructions
- The psychometric exam is assessed as either "ADMITTED" or "NOT ADMITTED".
- The results of the psychometric exam are announced on the same day it is taken.
- Based on the exam results, the applicant receives an official excerpt indicating admission status, which can be submitted to any medical university regardless of the exam location.
EDUCATIONAL GRANT COMPETITION
- Select a university where you will submit your documents for the grant competition.
- From July 13 to July 20, submit the original documents to the admissions committee directly at the university (any university in Kazakhstan).
- Competition results are announced by August 10.

Preferential Rights for
Receiving a State Educational Grant
In conducting the competition for educational grants, as well as for enrollment in the composition of students under the state educational order for higher education training, in case of equality of scores, preferential rights are given to a number of categories of citizens in subsequent priority
DOCUMENTS CONFIRMING THE PRESENCE OF PRIORITY RIGHTS AND QUOTAS
- Application (form provided by the admissions committee);
- Document of general secondary, technical and vocational, post-secondary, or higher education with attachments (original and copies);
- Identity document (must have an electronic scanned version in PDF format);
- 6 photographs sized 3 x 4 centimeters;
- Medical certificate in form 075/u;
- ENT certificate;
- Extract from the statement on the special exam (for applicants for higher education programs "general medicine," "dentistry," "nursing");
- White paper fastener;
- Two envelopes;
- Two (thick) files.
- Certificate of parents' death in connection with the restriction or deprivation of their parental rights,
- Recognition of parents as missing, declaring them deceased,
- Recognition of incapacity (limited capacity),
- Serving a sentence in places of imprisonment,
- Parents' evasion of raising the child or protecting their rights and interests, including refusal to take their child from an educational or medical institution, as well as in other cases of absence of parental care).
- Certificate of established form,
- Certificate from the military commissariat,
- Confirming participation in combat operations in the territories of other states or military ID with a note on participation in combat operations in the territories of other states.
- Certificate of a mother with many children,
- Copies of the birth certificates of all children,
- Copies of the parents' identity documents,
- Certificate of receiving benefits.
- Provide a medical conclusion regarding the absence of contraindications for education in the chosen educational program (Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated February 28, 2012, No. 264),
- Certificate confirming the fact of disability establishment, indicating the group of disability,
- Birth certificate of the child with a disability (original + copy).
- Document of divorce / death certificate of one of the parents,
- Court decision,
- Child's birth certificate,
- Notarized certificate from parents with this status (not married) for at least three years.
- Original and notarized copy of the translation of the educational document,
- Notarized copy of the translation of the passport, nostrification (or receipt).
- Copy of the disability certificate (medical and social examination),
- Birth certificate of the applicant (original + copy).
PAID
III STAGE – PARTICIPATION IN THE COMPETITION FOR PAID EDUCATION
Individuals with secondary, technical and professional, or post-secondary education who have passed the ENT and scored at least 70 points are eligible to participate in the competition for paid education. In this case, it is necessary to score at least 5 points in each subject of the ENT.
- 80 points, including at least 5 points in each subject - "Medicine"
- 75 points, including at least 5 points in each subject - "Pediatrics", "Dentistry"
- 70 points, including at least 5 points in each subject - "Nursing", "Pharmacy", "Public health", "Medical and preventive care", "IT medicine"
- 60 points, including at least 5 points in each subject - "Biological and related Sciences" (Biomedicine)
- 75 points, including at least 5 points in each subject - "Engineering, manufacturing and construction industries" (Pharmaceutical production technology)
To participate in the competition for the paid department, the applicant submits an application and a package of documents to the university admissions committee, as specified in the Standard Rules for Admission to Educational Organizations implementing higher and postgraduate education programs, approved by the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 31, 2018, No. 600.

IV Stage
List of documents for enrollment:
1) An application addressed to the Chairman of the Board - Rector electronically, upon registration on AIS Platonus;
2) Document of general secondary, technical and vocational, post-secondary, or higher education (certificate/diploma) (original);
3) Identity document (original and 2 copies);
4) ENU certificate (printed from the NCT website);
5) 6 photographs measuring 3 x 4 centimeters (cut and label with full name and specialty);
6) Medical certificate in form 075/y, (original + copy), fluorography scan, copy of form 065-u (copy of vaccination card);
7) Extract from the records of passing the psychometric exam (for “healthcare”);
8) Document confirming preferential rights:
- Holders of the "Altyn Beli" award, certificates of honor, diplomas with honors, distinction signs for patriotism and active civic position,
- Winners of international Olympiads and scientific project competitions (awarded first, second, and third degree diplomas) in general education subjects, international and republican competitions for performers and sports competitions (awarded first, second, and third degree diplomas) over the last three years, the list of which is determined by the authorized education authority, as well as winners of presidential and republican Olympiads and scientific project competitions in general education subjects (awarded first, second, and third degree diplomas) of the current academic year, provided that their chosen specialty corresponds to the subject of the Olympiad, competition, or sports event,
- Individuals with documents of technical and vocational, post-secondary education, confirming qualifications and having at least one year of work experience in the specialty, additionally submit one of the documents provided for in Article 35 of the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- Citizens with disabilities of the first or second group, individuals with disabilities from childhood, and children with disabilities who, according to medical conclusions, are not contraindicated for study in relevant educational organizations;
- Veterans of military operations in other countries, veterans equated to veterans of the Great Patriotic War;
- Citizens from among rural youth for training in educational programs that define the socio-economic development of the village;
- Individuals of Kazakh nationality who are not citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- Orphans and children left without parental care, as well as citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan among youth who have lost or were left without parental care until adulthood;
- Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan from among rural youth relocating to regions designated by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- Children from families raising four or more minor children;
- Children from single-parent families having this status for at least three years;
- Children from families raising children with disabilities from childhood and individuals with disabilities of the first or second group.

Document Submission for Bachelor's Programs:
- The deadline for submitting documents for the state educational grant competition is from July 13 to July 20 of the calendar year.
- The results of the state educational grant competition will be announced by August 10 of the calendar year.

STAGE II – PASSING THE PSYCHOMETRIC EXAM
Admission of students according to educational programs:
STAGE III – PARTICIPATION IN THE COMPETITION FOR THE AWARD OF AN EDUCATIONAL GRANT
To participate in the competition for the award of a higher education grant and/or enrollment for paid education, individuals with secondary, technical, and professional or post-secondary education who have passed the UNT and scored at least 70 points are eligible. In addition, a minimum of 5 points must be scored for each subject of the UNT.
To participate in the competition for the award of an educational grant funded by the Republican budget, the applicant submits an application and a package of documents to the university's admissions office from July 13 to July 20, as specified in the Standard Rules of Admission for Educational Organizations Implementing Higher and Postgraduate Education Programs, approved by the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 31, 2018, No. 600.
STAGE IV – UNIVERSITY ENROLLMENT
Enrollment of applicants as university students funded by the republican or local budget is carried out by the University Admissions Committee from August 10 to August 25 of the calendar year for education in Kazakh, Russian, or English.
List of documents required for participation in the educational grant competition:
1) Document of general secondary, technical and professional, post-secondary, or higher education (certificate/diploma) (original);
2) Identity document, birth certificate (original and 2 copies);
3) UNT certificate (printed from the NCT website);
4) 6 photos, 3 x 4 cm (cut and sign with full name and specialty);
5) Medical certificate in form 075/u, (original + copy), X-ray, copy of form 063-U (vaccination card copy);
6) Transcript of the psychometric exam results (for applicants for the educational programs "Medicine", "Pediatrics", "Nursing", "Dentistry") (printed);
7) Copy of the certificate confirming the level of English proficiency equivalent to IELTS 5.5 (Intermediate, B-1, TOEFL 567 and above) (if available);
8) Document confirming preferential rights:
- Holders of an "Altyn Beli", certificate of distinction, diploma with honors, badge of distinction for demonstrated patriotism and active civic position.
- Winners of international Olympiads and scientific project competitions (scientific contests) in general education subjects (awarded first, second, and third degree diplomas), international and republican competitions for performers and sports competitions (awarded first, second, and third degree diplomas) in the last three years, the list of which is determined by the authorized body in the field of education, as well as winners of presidential and republican Olympiads and scientific project competitions in general education subjects (awarded first, second, and third degree diplomas) of the current academic year, provided that their chosen specialty corresponds to the subject of the Olympiad, competition, or sports competition.
- Individuals with documents of technical and professional or post-secondary education, confirmed qualifications, and at least one year of work experience in the specialty must additionally submit one of the documents specified in Article 35 of the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
9) Documents confirming preferential rights and quotas for:
- Citizens from among persons with disabilities of the first or second group, persons with childhood disabilities, children with disabilities, for whom according to medical conclusions, studying in appropriate educational organizations is not contraindicated;
- Veterans of military operations in other countries, veterans equalized in benefits with veterans of the Great Patriotic War;
- Citizens from among rural youth for training in educational programs determining the socio-economic development of the village;
- Persons of Kazakh nationality who are not citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- Orphaned children and children left without parental care, as well as citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan from among the youth who lost or remained without parental care until adulthood;
- Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan from among rural youth relocating to regions determined by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- Children from families raising four or more minor children;
- Children from incomplete families, having this status for at least three years;
- Children from families raising children with disabilities from childhood, persons with disabilities of the first or second group.

Upon enrollment, the following documents must be submitted to the admissions committee:
1) An application addressed to the Chairman of the Board - Rector (electronically, when registering on AIS Platonus;
2) Certificate of awarding the educational grant;
3) Military registration certificate (for boys, copy);
4) Educational services agreement.
Acceptance of applications for enrollment
Step 1.
To submit an application for enrollment, an electronic digital signature (EDS) is required.
Grant holders undergo the registration procedure through the Government Electronic Portal e-gov "Education - Higher Education - Submission of Documents and Enrollment in Higher Educational Institutions for Training in Higher Education Programs" (egov.kz), and then submit an application through the AIS "Platonus" - Registration of Applicants platon.qmu.edu.kz (Instruction for registration in the information system "Platonus" www.youtube.com).
Applicants enrolling on a paid basis submit an application through the AIS "Platonus" - Registration of Applicants ( platon.qmu.edu.kz), then register through the technical secretary of the university's admissions committee in the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan's state service portal (Pepik) and provide documents.
Document submission is conducted at the following address: Astana, Abai Street 47.
Step 2. Provide documents to the university's admissions committee by August 24.
Step 3. Pay for education (upon enrollment in the paid department).
Step 4. Sign the educational services agreement.
