Description of the educational program
The educational program of continuous integrated education was developed in accordance with subparagraph 2 of Article 221 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 7, 2020 "On the health of the people and the healthcare system" and Article 56 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 27, 2007 "On Education", the rules for assessing the knowledge and skills of students, assessing the professional readiness of graduates of educational institutions programs for the training of Healthcare and healthcare professionals approved by the Order of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 11, 2020 No. KR DSM-249/2020. The OP was prepared using modular learning technology, the content of which is aimed at training highly specialized specialists in the field of pediatrics and related sciences.
Mission
Training of a qualified pediatrician, Master of Medicine, capable of implementing successful clinical activities based on high clinical, scientific and ethical standards of healthcare.

- The structural and molecular elements of vital activity are being studied, which will allow us to have an idea of the functioning of the tissues of the child's body;
- Formation of the ideological, civil and moral position of the future specialist, competitive on the basis of knowledge of information and communication technologies, building communication programs in the state, Russian and foreign languages;
- Orientation towards a healthy lifestyle, self-improvement and professional success.
- The structure of the anatomical structures of organs and systems of the child's body is normal, physiology and histology, physiological mechanisms that ensure coordination, principles of operation and regulation, assessment of their functions by clinical and physiological methods, taking into account age characteristics.
- The features of pathological anatomy, pathological physiology of organs and systems of children, features and mechanisms of development, syndromes of the most common diseases of childhood, methods of visual diagnosis and the main groups of drugs are studied;
- Fundamentals of pharmacotherapy, molecular and membrane mechanisms of interaction of medicinal substances with biological targets, biological properties, pathogenicity factors, mechanisms of realization of pathogens of infectious diseases in children;
- The issues of physical examination of the child, counseling on care, development, and nutrition of children are being studied. ethical and deontological relationships with medical personnel, healthy and sick children, their parents/legal representatives.
- Clinical manifestations, methods of diagnosis and treatment of diseases in infants, young and older children will be studied on the basis of best clinical practices;
- The features of protein-energy deficiency, rickets, rickets-like diseases, anemia, the most common diseases of the bronchopulmonary, cardiovascular, digestive, genitourinary systems, and hematopoiesis in childhood are studied;
- The issues of differential diagnosis and treatment for surgical diseases, diseases of the organs of vision in children, neuropathological pathology, mental health issues, basic communication skills of a pediatrician are studied.
- The issues of related pathology in the work of a pediatrician, the basic principles of diagnosis and intensive care of major pathological syndromes and critical conditions in children, the organization of emergency and emergency medical services are studied;
- Triage-a system for emergencies and disasters;
- The signs of danger in young children, algorithms for diagnosing and providing emergency care to children at the pre-hospital stage, and the organization of dispensary monitoring of children with chronic diseases are being studied.
- The principles of the organization of therapeutic and preventive care for young children will be studied;
- Criteria for a comprehensive assessment of the state of health;
- Principles of prevention and dispensary supervision of children with background pathology;
- Principles of treatment and prevention;
- Dispensary monitoring of common diseases of early age;
- Organization of screening studies in children;
- The principles of a universally progressive model of patronage supervision of pregnant women and young children.

Employment
After completing their studies under the educational program "Pediatrics", graduates can work in public and private healthcare and education organizations as pediatricians, teachers, researchers, and also obtain the right to private practice in accordance with current regulatory legal acts.
