The journal "Medicine and Ecology"
A quarterly peer-reviewed scientific and practical journal.
It was founded in 1996.
The mission is to ensure excellent quality of published materials.
The main thematic focus of the journal is scientific results, dissertation research for a degree. Articles on various problems of clinical, practical, theoretical and experimental medicine, organization, history and economics of healthcare, ecology and hygiene, issues of medical and pharmaceutical education, observations from practice are also published.
The founder is a non–profit joint-stock Company "Karaganda Medical University".
The journal strives to strictly adhere to the principles of editorial ethics outlined in the recommendations of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
"Medicine and Ecology" was registered by the Ministry of Information and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan on April 20, 2017. State registration number – 16469-Zh, ISSN 2305-6045 (Print), ISSN 2305-6053 (Online), subscription index – 74609.
According to the order of the Chairperson of the Committee for Quality Assurance in Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 368 dated 19.03.2024, the quarterly peer-reviewed scientific and practical journal "Medicine and Ecology" has been included in the List of Publications recommended by the Committee for Quality Assurance in Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan for publishing key results of scientific activities.
The journal is indexed in KazNB, eLibrary, CyberLeninka, GoogleScholar, ROAR, OpenDOAR, and research4life.
The journal is included in the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Unified Electronic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republican Interuniversity Electronic Library, and is located in the Repository of Karaganda Medical University as well as on the VseNauki platform.
Articles are published in Kazakh, Russian, and English by domestic and foreign authors.
Each article is assigned a DOI – a digital object identifier for unique and permanent online identification of journal content and links on the Internet.
