In accordance with the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 24, 2024 No. 320 On the Reorganization of the Non-profit Joint-stock Company "Medical University of Karaganda", the non-profit joint-stock company "Medical University of Karaganda" (hereinafter referred to as the company) was reorganized by splitting into the non-profit joint-stock company "Карагандинский медицинский университет" (hereinafter referred to as NAO "KMU") and the non-profit Joint Stock Company "National Center for Occupational Hygiene and Diseases" with 100% (one hundred percent) state participation in their authorized capitals.

The sole shareholder of the Company is the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which exercises the rights of ownership and use of the state block of shares in the Company and represents the interests of the state, as the Sole Shareholder, in matters falling within the competence of the general meeting of shareholders, in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
