Medical Education 4.0:
Global Trends and Local Solutions
VII Central Asian International Scientific and Practical Conference
on Medical Education
Esteemed colleagues, dear friends!
Karaganda Medical University is pleased and honored to welcome you to the VII Central Asian International Scientific and Practical Conference «Medical Education 4.0: Global Trends and Local Solutions», dedicated to the 75th anniversary of our University.
This Conference is not just a scientific event! This Conference is the symbol of our commitment to innovation, quality and international cooperation! We are proud that our University has become the center of attraction for scientists, teachers, students and practitioners from all over the region, joining aspiration to discuss topical issues of medical education!
In 2025, the conference takes on the special significance. It takes place in the jubilee year for our university – the 75th anniversary of the foundation. We are meeting this milestone with the special sense of responsibility for the future. The conference is held in the year declared by the United Nations as the International Year of Glaciers' Preservation. In this context, our University is strengthening its efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals by integrating the principles of environmental and social responsibility into education, science and everyday academic life. We used the ice theme in the titles of the Conference sections. Through such symbolism, we strive to once again draw the attention of the scientific community to the role of medical education in the responsible worldview formation.
I am grateful to all the organizers, speakers and participants for their contribution to the development of medical education and science. I wish you productive work, interesting meetings and successful endeavors!
With respect and sincere appreciation, Victor Riklefs, Acting Rector of Karaganda Medical University
