The Draft of the Constitutional Reform was discussed at KMU

The discussion was attended by the Chairman of the Board – Rector B.N. Kosherova, vice-rectors, faculty members, deans of schools, and students.
During the discussion, key topics were considered in regard to the regulation of healthcare, education, and science.
- The constitutional amendments are aimed at further sustainable development of our country, an independent state led by the civil rights and liberties of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, noted Chairman of the Board – Rector Bakhyt Nurgaliyevna Kosherova.
Presentations were delivered by Vice-Rector for Academic and Social Work Zh.A. Dauletkaliyeva, Professor Emeritus from the School of Public Health V.N. Priz, Head of the Department of History of Kazakhstan and Social-Political Disciplines S.A. Nikiforova, and Associate Professor from the Department of History of Kazakhstan and Social-Political Disciplines B. Bitenova.



- Unconditionally, each of us must take responsibility to changes in the constitutional law of our state, especially in terms of health protection and patients’ quality of life and training of highly qualified specialists, noted Professor M.M. Tussupbekova from the Department of Morphology.



- Issues related to medicine and science are of great importance. We support the changes presented in the draft and express gratitude to the university administration for the opportunity to discuss them, noted R.Kh. Begaidarova, professor from the Department of Infectious Diseases and Phthisiology.
