Yermek Meiramovich Turgunov, Professor of the Department of Surgical Diseases at KMU, Doctor of Medical Sciences, was recognized as the “Best Research Fellow – 2025”; Zhanerke Yerlanovna Bolatova Associate Professor of the School of Public Health at KMU, became the “Best University Teacher – 2025.”

The awards were solemnly presented by Gulzat Kobenova, Vice Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In addition, Zh.Ye. Bolatova was awarded a state research fellowship by the order of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan for her contribution to the development of the country's scientific capability.
