On February 13, the quarterly competition “Medical Emergencies Territory” was held at the Center for Simulation and Educational Technologies, based on the scenario “Road Traffic Accident,” with the participation of medical residents of all years and fields of specialization. The competition provides a unique opportunity, in a competitive format, to demonstrate the knowledge and practical skills acquired during undergraduate and residency training, as well as to practice effective teamwork in conditions close to real clinical practice.
Six teams took part in the competition, each consisting of 5–6 medical residents. According to the scenario, a road traffic accident occurred on the Karaganda–Karkaralinsk highway involving a crash between a motorcyclist and a passenger minibus (“GAZelle”). An emergency response team, including medical residents, arrived at the accident scene to provide rescue emergency care, conduct sorting, and organize the subsequent transportation of the injured.
The award panel included representatives of practical healthcare: Gulnaz Orazovna Talaspayeva, Head of the Maternal and Child Welfare Service of Outpatient Clinic No. 3; Sholpan Kudaibergenovna Issatayeva, Deputy Director for Clinical Care of “Jusan Med” LLP; as well as trainers from the CSET.
Following the results of the competition, the medical residents who scored the highest number of points were awarded first-, second-, and third-degree diplomas.
First-degree diplomas were awarded to the team consisting of Elmir Dzhamaledinov (orthopedic traumatologist), Zufar Bilalov (orthopedic traumatologist), Vadim Kambarov (orthopedic traumatologist), Alexey Shilov (rheumatologist), Dias Omarov (psychiatrist), and Temirlan Issatayev (rehabilitation therapist).
Second-degree diplomas were awarded to Aizada Kairat (pediatrician), Alexandra Malevannaya (pediatrician), Gaukhar Sagynbayeva (neonatologist), Arailym Mamarakhim (neonatologist), and Mikhail Tarasevich (orthopedic traumatologist).
Third-degree diplomas were awarded to Aida Muratkyzy (allergist-immunologist), Zamira Seilkhan (allergist-immunologist), Aruzhan Zhusip (allergologist-immunologist), Zhandos Tastabekov (surgeon), and Daniyar Tuyak (surgeon).
