The Dissertation Council serves to review and defend doctoral and candidate dissertations for academic degrees.
Dissertation councils are responsible for the quality and objectivity of the examination of dissertations, for the validity of decisions made and are designed to ensure a high level of requirements in determining the compliance of dissertations with criteria.
