Internal diplomas have specific formatting and security features, a unique generated identification number, and a QR code.

The logo of the institutional accreditation agency is placed on the internal diploma. The diploma supplements of both internal and state formats contain the logo of the accreditation agency that accredited the declared educational programs.

The diploma identification number is stored in the National Educational Database (NEDB). Starting from 2024, the generation of the identification number will be carried out through the Unified Higher Education Platform (UHEP) and will be linked to the specific diploma holder.
