Tien Shan
There are 1,009 glaciers on the ridges of the Tien Shan. The area is 857 km2. The snow line is on average at an altitude of about 3,800 m.
Altai
There are 328 glaciers in Altai. The area is 89.6 km2. There are 18 glaciers on the Saur Ridge on the border with China. The snow line is on average at an altitude of 2,600 m.
