What will you learn?
1st year
- Diagnosis and treatment of the most common cardiological, pulmonological, gastroenterological diseases at the outpatient and inpatient stages; the basics of radiation, functional and ultrasound diagnostics of diseases of internal organs;
- Diagnosis and emergency care in the clinic of internal diseases.
2nd year
- Diagnosis and treatment of the most common endocrinological, nephrological, rheumatological, hematological diseases at all levels of medical care;
- Diagnosis of common neurological, infectious, oncological diseases; tuberculosis of various localization in the practice of a general practitioner;
- Diagnosis and treatment of extragenital pathology in pregnant women.
Final learning outcomes
- To carry out an objective examination, differential diagnosis of the main syndromes and the results of diagnostic examinations for therapeutic diseases; to analyze the data obtained, formulate a clinical diagnosis in accordance with the modern classification in the hospital.
- To carry out treatment in accordance with the provisions of evidence-based medicine, modern clinical protocols and recommendations for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with therapeutic diseases in outpatient practice and in the hospital.
- Provide qualified medical care for emergency and life-threatening conditions in the hospital and outpatient practice.
- Possess the skills of rehabilitation and prevention based on evidence-based medicine for therapeutic diseases in the hospital, outpatient practice, rehabilitation and sanatorium organizations.
- To carry out an examination of temporary disability, carry out dispensary supervision, determine indications and refer patients with therapeutic diseases to high-tech diagnostic procedures and highly specialized medical care.
- Demonstrate effective interaction with the patient, his environment, and healthcare professionals, including as part of interdisciplinary and interprofessional teams in order to achieve the best results for the patient.
