Final learning outcomes
- Conducts a clinical examination of the patient and establishes a clinical diagnosis in accordance with modern clinical protocols and guidelines.
- Evaluates the potential risks of therapy, prescribes treatment according to evidence-based practice and determines its effectiveness.
- Prescribes and carries out effective measures in the preoperative and postoperative periods in the management of the patient.
- Provides and carries out a complex of early rehabilitation measures with primary and secondary (including clinical examination) prevention of major childhood diseases.
- Carries out effective communication with the patient and his relatives, involving them in discussion and participation in the treatment process.
- Ability to work effectively with members of the treatment team, including nursing staff, diagnostic services specialists to coordinate and deliver treatment.
- Ability to determine the limits of one's own knowledge in clinical situations.
- Demonstrates leadership skills and self-confidence that enhance the team, learning environment, and health care delivery system.
