Mission

The training of residents of obstetrician-gynecologists, based on the new principles of clinical, sanitary-epidemiological and socio-behavioral sciences for identifying health risk factors, is aimed at achieving competencies in the field of obstetric and gynecological practice with the aim of quality care and improving the health of patients.

  • Methods of managing women with physiological pregnancy and pregnant women with extragenital pathology;
  • Methods of diagnosis and principles of therapy for gynecological patients in an outpatient setting;
  • Algorithms for the management of pregnant women in critical conditions in the hospital.
2nd course
  • Methods of managing pregnant women in an obstetric hospital;
  • Methods of surgical treatment in gynecology.
3rd course
  • Methods of conservative treatment in gynecological hospital;
  • Methods of examination and treatment of girls;
  • Methods of managing cancer patients;
  • Methods for managing women with infertility.

Final learning outcomes

  1. Demonstrate knowledge of emergency care and resuscitation measures for obstetric, gynecological and pediatric pathologies.
  2. Demonstrate knowledge of the technique of performing obstetric and gynecological operations, as well as minimally invasive treatment methods in obstetrics, gynecology, reproductive medicine and pediatric gynecology.
  3. Demonstrate knowledge of the management of low-risk pregnancy, with risk factors for maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality, based on clinical protocols of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan and clinical recommendations, taking into account the sequence of medical care.
  4. Demonstrate the basics of oncological alertness for the purpose of prevention and early diagnosis of malignant neoplasms of the female reproductive system, issues of temporary and permanent disability, medical and labor examination in obstetrics and gynecology.
  5. Demonstrate effective interaction with adult and pediatric patients and their environment, involving them in discussion and participation in the process of observation and treatment, to achieve better results.
  6. Use available information technologies to optimize patient care and communication with colleagues.
  7. Demonstrate the cognitive competencies and knowledge necessary to carry out effective professional practice and continuous improvement of interprofessional teams to provide patient-centered care.
