- Methods of diagnosis, differential diagnosis;
- Surgical treatment and surgical tactics of patient management in a hospital setting.
3rd year
- Surgical pathology of the abdominal and thoracic organs in elective surgery;
- Methods of diagnosis, differential diagnosis;
- Surgical treatment using modern minimally invasive and endovideosurgical technologies.
Final learning outcomes
- Demonstrates knowledge in the field of clinical anatomy of the abdominal cavity, pelvis and retroperitoneal space, physiology of hemostasis, as well as the pathogenesis of surgical diseases. Maintains medical records in a comprehensive, timely and accurate manner in electronic patient accounting systems.
- Demonstrates knowledge of methods of diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic surgical diseases, knows the tactics of managing patients with suspected emergency conditions in surgery at the outpatient and inpatient stages.
