Final learning outcomes

  1. Apply knowledge of a foreign language for business and professional communication.
  2. To build effective intersectoral interaction with the population, community members, organizations, authorities, and the media, contributing to joint responsibility and people's choice in favor of health.
  3. Master the general scientific methodology, logic and technology of conducting research work, the ability to design its results in various forms of scientific products.
  4. Perform statistical analysis and assessment of public health problems and model and predict health parameters and individual elements of health systems.
  5. To use knowledge of regulatory sanitary and hygienic requirements for the quality of the environment and products in their professional activities.
  6. To use knowledge of the viability of pathogenic, conditionally pathogenic and sanitary-indicative microorganisms in environmental objects to develop preventive measures to limit their content and circulation in the environment, drinking water and food products.
  7. To use knowledge of the legislative documents of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the protection of citizens' health, sanitary and environmental legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the legal basis for the activities of specialists of the state sanitary and epidemiological service and documentation of the Department of control and supervision of infectious and non-communicable diseases at workplaces and facilities of settlements.
  8. To carry out control and supervisory functions in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population.
  9. Identify and analyze the impact of environmental factors, production factors, and food quality on public health.
  10. To study and evaluate the condition of human habitat objects, taking into account the results of laboratory and instrumental studies, collection and analysis of data on the health status of the population due to the influence of various environmental factors.
  11. Keep accounting and reporting documentation provided by the authorities for ensuring the sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population.

  • Specialist in communal hygiene, food hygiene, control and supervision of educational and upbringing facilities, occupational hygiene, radiation hygiene, epidemiologist of organizations of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Control Committee;
