Description of the educational program

Nursing education in rehabilitation provides important skills and knowledge necessary to provide quality care to patients undergoing rehabilitation.

During the training, students learn the basics of physiotherapy, occupational therapy, massage, as well as learn how to work with various medical devices and technologies used in rehabilitation centers.

Students will also learn how to ensure the safety of patients, monitor their physical activity, administer medications and monitor their overall health. An important aspect of the training will be the development of communication and empathy skills, as rehabilitation often requires the support and motivation of patients.

Nursing education in rehabilitation consists of four courses, each of which provides students with the necessary knowledge and practical skills for a successful career in this field. Students study various aspects of nursing practice, anatomy, physiology, clinical practice and specialized rehabilitation techniques. The result of this training is a trained and competent specialist who is ready to provide assistance and support to patients in their rehabilitation process.

What will you learn?

1st year
  • In the first year, students are introduced to the basics of nursing and its role in the rehabilitation of patients.
  • Important topics covered in this course include the basic principles of nursing practice, standards of hygiene and patient care, as well as basic medical terminology.
2nd year
  • The second year studies more deeply the anatomy and physiology of the human body, the peculiarities of the rehabilitation process and the technique of primary care.
  • Students also learn the basics of physical therapy, recovery exercises, and massage needed to support patient rehabilitation.
3rd year
    In the third year, students immerse themselves in the study of clinical practice and have the opportunity to expand their knowledge of various rehabilitation techniques such as electrotherapy, hydrotherapy and therapeutic nutrition.
  • Also at this stage, students study the specifics of working with patients with various chronic diseases and disabilities.
4th year
  • In the fourth year, students become experts and master advanced rehabilitation techniques.
  • They study specialized techniques such as orthotics, the use of rehabilitation equipment and psychological support for patients.
  • This course also focuses on ethics in nursing and healthcare management.

The Bachelor of Nursing has the right to continue further studies in the Master's degree in the field of Nursing after completing the doctoral degree in Nursing Science.
