The department of pediatrics and neonatology
Our department understands children without words. We instill a special attitude towards young patients in our trainees. To achieve this, we develop and implement new educational programs, use modern methods, and offer innovative approaches to providing medical care.
Among the main areas of our research is the development of innovative molecular technologies for the diagnosis and effectiveness of treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension in preschool children.
At the department, trainees acquire basic skills for working with children and study the characteristics of a growing body. Various educational technologies are used in the educational process: from practical activities and clinical discussions to interactive group interactions and conferences. Instructors develop new educational programs and courses.
Science
Among the main areas of our research is the development of innovative molecular technologies for the diagnosis and effectiveness of treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension in preschool children. The faculty of the department actively conducts research under a targeted funding program. The department studies international experiences in providing palliative care for children, the criteria for palliative status, and categories of children in need of palliative care. It is involved in determining and identifying all criteria for palliative status and expanding the list of diseases according to ICD-10 codes, under which a child can subsequently receive the status of a palliative patient.
The results of our research are published in international journals and collections of abstracts from international conferences. The results of scientific research work are confirmed by 26 certificates of copyright for intellectual property.
The Department of Pediatrics and Neonatology at NAO "MUK" has the necessary staffing potential to carry out scientific research: 3 doctors of medical sciences (Tukbekova B.T., Skosarev I.A., Dyusenova S.B.), 4 candidates of medical sciences (Zhupeova D.E., Kizatova S.T., Kenjetaeva T.A., Ereмичева G.G.), 3 doctors of philosophy PhD in "Medicine" (Akhaeva A.S., Jumakanova K.S., Zhanpeisova A.A.), and 4 masters (Zhumagulova S.E. in "Medicine", Turlybekova S.A., Kiryanova T.A., Tlegenova K.S in "Public Health").
