Dear students of Karaganda Medical University!

Languages Development Center of Karaganda Medical University invites you to take part in the university scientific- theoretical conference "Флагман высшего образования: КМУ – 75 лет" ("The Leader of Higher Education:KMU - 75 YEARS), dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Karaganda Medical University.

The conference will take place on March 14, 2025, at 10 a.m.

Registration starts at 9 a.m. (in front of the Academic Board Hall).

Research areas of the conference:

1.     Выдающиеся личности Казахстана: вклад в развитие здравоохранения (Prominent Figures of Kazakhstan: Contributions to Healthcare Development)

2.     Современные инновации в медицине: от теории к практике (Modern Innovations in Medicine: From Theory to Practice)

3.     Полиязычие как ключевой фактор формирования профессиональной компетенции в здравоохранении (Multilingual space as a Key Factor in the Formation of Expertise in Healthcare)

Languages of the conference: Kazakh, Russian, and English.

To participate in the conference, it is required to send the following materials to the selection committee by e-mail – conf.kmu.2025@mail.ru with attached files by February 28, 2025:

– text of article (a sample is attached);

– application form for conference participation (a form is attached).

Following the conference, an electronic collection of materials of the conference is planned (free of charge).

 Articles that do not correspond to the topic of the conference, as well as those submitted later than the specified deadline, will not be considered as part of the conference.

Form of participation is offline: presentation of a report (certificate of participation).

Requirements for preparing an article:

- volume of the article is no more than 5 pages (including pictures and tables);

- font – Times New Roman or Kz Times New Roman, size 14;

- margins – top and bottom – 2 cm, left – 3 cm, right – 1,5 cm;

- line spacing – one and a half;

- indent at the beginning of the paragraph – 1,25 cm.
