Scopus Author ID
Author ID – a unique identifier assigned to the author that is linked to the indexing of the author's first publication in Scopus. If you have publications in Scopus, then you also have an Author ID. It can be determined in the following way:
How to find your Author ID in Scopus
- Go to the Scopus website: www.scopus.com;
- Log into your account;
- Search by author name or publication title;
- Click on the author's name on the results page;
- After clicking on the author's surname, a page with their profile will open. The Scopus Author ID will be located under the author's name.
Note:
- If the author has only one publication, you need to go to the article and click on your surname on the article page. After that, a preliminary author profile will open.
ORCID identifier

How to register in the ORCID system?

3. Click the “Create Account” button.
4. Confirm your email address by following the link in the email from ORCID.
5. Add your personal information to your profile, such as your workplace or educational institution, research interests, etc.
6. Add your publications to the “Works” section. This can be done manually or by importing a list from other databases (e.g., Scopus or Web of Science).
