You have become students of 'KMU' and have gained the right to use the library's resources and information services. To succeed in your studies at the university, it is essential for you to familiarize yourself in detail with the library's operations and services so that from the first day of your studies, you can find the most effective ways to access the diverse information sources available in the university's library collection.

1. Read the Rules of Use of the library and the Rights and obligations of users and the library.

2. Information that is important for every library user to know!

You can borrow literature for home use from the library's academic and scientific literature sections. Academic literature is issued for one semester, while scientific literature is issued for 15 days.
The reading room and the periodicals room contain literature available in limited quantities from the library collection, including monographs, guides, reference books, dictionaries, periodicals, and scarce textbooks, which can be used in the hall.
The electronic resources room provides readers access to the electronic catalog, databases, electronic library systems, and the Internet.

3. Electronic educational resources (textbooks, manuals, virtual atlases, educational videos, and others) are available for all categories of students by subscription of the university in remote mode (Subscription databases and Instructions for working with databases).

4. The reader should extend the use of educational and scientific literature in a timely manner in order to avoid misunderstandings. You can renew books taken on a scientific literature subscription remotely ( Remote renewal of literature).

If books are lost or damaged, you will be required to compensate the library for the damage:

With a similar book;
With a publication recognized by the library as equivalent to the lost book.

4. How to find and take home the necessary literature.

In order to find the right book in the library, you must use the Electronic Catalog ( Electronic catalog).
The electronic catalog is available only to library readers. Login is carried out using a username and password, where the login is the reader's IIN, the password is the surname (in Cyrillic with a capital letter). For example,

The search for books through the Electronic catalog is possible: by title, author or keywords in the "Electronic catalog" section. In the "Electronic Library" section, you can read online or download publications written by the university faculty.
