Within the academic mobility program in the period from 19.03.2018 to 30.03.2018 I visited Department of Pathophysiology and Endocrinology course in the Federal State Educational Institution of Higher Education "Ryazan State Medical University named after I.P.Pavlov ".

Master class "Epigenetics" for teaching staff and researchers in the framework of the "Central Asian and European Universities" (CASEU) project was held from March 27 to April 5, 2018 at Department of Biology of Karaganda State Medical University by professors of the University of Poitiers (France) Paule Seite and Brigitte Vannier.

As a part of the activities for educational work with students of KSMU, the staff of the Biochemistry and Pathological Anatomy Departments met with the students of the hostel No. 2 in the form of round table. Under the guidance of the heads of departments, teachers of the departments held a talk with interactive materials on the topic: “The effect of the use of low-alcohol beverages” and “alcoholization of the youth as social problem”.

On March 28, 2018, on the behalf of KSMU the Department of Infectious Diseases and Dermatovenereology conducted a master class with international participants on the topic: " Modern tactics of treatment for pregnant women with intrauterine infections ". The choices of topic were determined by the relevant problem, that includes the infectious diseases which are dangerous for mother and unborn child, that are diagnosed only during pregnancy.

On the 29th and 30th March within the walls of the main building of the RUDN University IX the All- Russia students` Olympiad was held with the international participation on the therapeutic stomatology. The organizer of this event was the Scientific Students` Society of the Medical Institute of the RUDN University.

From the 2nd of April 2 until the 13th of April 2018, professor of the the Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski (Bulgaria) Tatyana Dronzina arrived at the Karaganda State Medical University. The professor met with the Rector R.S. Dosmagambetova, the Provost Vaiva Hendrikson, the Head of International Cooperation Department S. B. Kassymova, and was also acquainted with the structure of the university, visited the museum of history of the KSMU.

Within the framework of the cooperation between the Karaganda State Medical University and the Senior Experts Service (Germany), on March 26, 2018 Dr. Frank Haamann, doctor of medical sciences, arrived in the university. The main purpose of the visit of the professor is the training of the academic staff of KSMU.

On April 2, 2018, Vaiva Hendrikson arrived at the Karaganda State Medical University to begin work as a university provost (First Vice-Rector).
Since 2015, Vaiva Hendrikson is an honorary professor of KSMU, has repeatedly visited our university in the framework of the academic mobility program in 2016, 2017.

On March 29-30, 2018, the Department of Clinical Work and Employment of Graduates of the Karaganda State Medical University held an annual Job Fair in the walls of the Karaganda State Medical University, which became a traditional event for our university, enjoying great interest both among students and employers.

On March 26, a meeting of the "INSIGHT" debate club on the topic: "New opportunities of the state language" was held at the KSMU.
