On March 29-30, 2018, the Department of Clinical Work and Employment of  Graduates of the Karaganda State Medical University held an annual Job Fair in the walls of the Karaganda State Medical University, which became a traditional event for our university, enjoying great interest both among students and employers.

More than 270 representatives from more than 220 medical organizations from South Kazakhstan, Zhambyl, North Kazakhstan, Karaganda, Pavlodar, Akmola and Kostanay regions and from the cities of Almaty and Astana took part in the Job Fair, as well as graduates of  the following specialties: "General Medicine", "Dentistry "," Public Health "," Pharmacy ", "Technology of Pharmaceutical Production "," Nursing"," Biology ".

The Job Fair was opened with a welcoming speech by the Vice-Rector for Clinical Work and Continuing Professional Development B.N. Kosherova. B.K Omarkulov, head of the Department of Clinical Work and Employment of Graduates, spoke about the University and the contingent of graduates of 2018. Then the employers and representatives of akimats made speeches, voicing a large number of proposals for graduates planning work in cities and in rural areas. The employers familiarized the graduates with the offered social package, offered help in solving housing problems, lending, improving their qualifications, as well as assisting in the placement of spouses and the placement of young doctors' children in preschool institutions.

As part of the Job Fair, there was conducted a questionnaire of employers, which resulted in a level of theoretical and practical training of graduates at a decent level. Highly qualified graduates of our university are in demand on the labor market, which confirms the high rate of employment - 99% (2016), 95% (2017).

The result of the event was the conclusion of tripartite agreements with bachelors of the 2018 issue in the specialties "Pharmacy", "Nursing", "Public Health", "Biology" "Technology of pharmaceutical production" and the planned releases of 2019 and 2020 in the specialties "General Medicine" and "Dentistry".

The Job Fair in Karaganda State Medical University can become an excellent springboard and a launching pad for the career of young professionals.

Undoubtedly, the main indicator of the good activity of the university is its graduates. More than 33 thousand graduates of KSMU have become highly qualified doctors who successfully work in all regions of Kazakhstan, as well as countries of near and far abroad.
