Within the framework of the cooperation between the Karaganda State Medical University and the Senior Experts Service (Germany), on March 26, 2018 Dr. Frank Haamann, doctor of medical sciences, arrived in the university. The main purpose of the visit of the professor is the training of the academic staff of KSMU.

The expert has extensive and many years of experience in all key areas of general medicine, general surgery, infectology. The expert for many years worked as a freelance teacher at the University Hospital Eppendorf in the field of general medicine, including infectology. Knowledge in the field of occupational medicine belongs to his competence, as well as qualified consultations on the topics: prevention, rehabilitation. He has experience working abroad and has developed a plan for infection control in India.

During the visit, the expert will visit the Department of Epidemiology and Hygiene, the Department of Infectious Diseases and Dermatovenereology, the Department of Surgical Diseases No. 2, the Department of Children's Dentistry and Surgical Dentistry, the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and many others. The visit of the professor to KSMU will last until April 14, 2018.
