The seminar "Continuing medical education outside of your university" with international participation was held onthe 1st April, 2016 in West Kazakhstan State Medical University named after M.Ospanov (Aktobe). Participants of seminar discussed the current issues of international medical education the academic mobility in Kazakhstan and opportunities of medical exchanges through KazMSA.

The Department of Molecular Biology and Medical Genetics at the hostel №4 of Karaganda State Medical University held an event devoted to the 550 anniversary of the Kazakh Khanate on the 4th April, 2016. Basic approaches of healthy food culture reflected in government regulations to optimize the nutrition of the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Background Documents state that the formation of healthy eating culture should start from the earliest stages of the child's learning at school and continue throughout all the years of study, taking into account age features.

The training for teachers of 1, 2 levels on CPD program was completed. Training was carried out from the 18th of January, 2016 to the 31st of March, 2016. The CPD program consists of 6 core competencies of KSMU faculty, the amount of hours 324. Upon completion of training and passing tests participants were given certificates.

On March 24-27, there was a National Championship in close-handed fight in Shymkent. In the competition of the best fighters of the country took part 227 sportsmen representing 15 teams from 9 regions of Kazakhstan.
