The International Congress Almaty Hepatology 2018 was held in Almaty from 10.12.18 to 10.13.18. The congress included lectures and master classes by leading experts from Kazakhstan and foreign countries (Japan, China, Israel, Italy, Germany, Russia) on the main issues of hepatology, sectional scientific meetings, poster session.

From 29.09.2018 to 08.10.2018 as part of the ProInCa project “Promoting the Innovation Capacity for Health Services’ Transition”, a workshop were held in the cities of Helsinki and Lahti (Finland). From our university in the workshop and master class was attended by the dean of SPH B. Serik, the teacher of the department of nursing, I. B. Meyermanova and master student of "Public Health" Zh.M. On September 3, 2018, the I International Competition of University Groups "Best university group - 2018" was held within the framework of the Project on Intellectual Development of Young Scientists.
University groups from 299 higher educational institutions from 8 countries in 19 areas took part in the competition. Participants in the competition were undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students.
