Under the results of the ranking the Karaganda state medical university took the 2nd place among the universities of Kazakhstan.

On December 7, 2015 Department of Epidemiology and Communal Hygiene held a training on HIV prevention among young people in the dormitory №4. The purpose of the training was to teach students self-assessment of risk, avoiding dangerous situations and protect themselves and their families from infection.

On the 26th of November in "Dostar Alem" hotel the first rally of young journalists and bloggers was held by the center for work with the youth of Karaganda city. The purpose of this event was creation of a unified platform for dialogue not only for young journalists and bloggers, active students, representatives of student mass media but also for pupils, who want to link their lives with this profession in the future.
