On 20 September of 2019, scientific-practical conference of the young scientists “PhD Scientific Day” has been held in the university. This conference was dedicated to the 100th anniversary since birth of Bahia Atchabarov- the first scholar, the famous initiator of medical science and health care of Kazakhstan, participant of the Great Patriotic War, academician of RK NAS and a native of Karaganda region.

Associate Professor of the Department of Pathology of the KMU Saule Amangeldievna Mussabekova from July 22 to July 26, 2019 took part in a scientific internship coordinated by the University of Porto in the framework of the European program Erasmus +, aimed at the mobility of academic and administrative personnel, which includes institutions from 25 countries outside Europe.

On September 7, the grand opening of the 31st European Congress of Pathology took place at the Nice Acropolis Convention Centre (Nice, France). This Congress brought together about 3,900 participants from 92 countries. In the most beautiful city of the French riviera, the best specialists of their business exchanged the latest knowledge in the field of pathology.
