The topic was chosen taking into account the wishes of students who had practical difficulties in practicing the skill "Decoding ECG". A lecture for everyone was held by the trainer of practical skills of CSET Shmakov Alexander Sergeevich.

To the 3rd anniversary of the project “Rukhani Zhangyru”, the debate tournament “Modern Kazakhstani culture in the global world” was held at JSC “KMU”. The tournament was in 3 languages: Kazakh, Russian and English. Two teams, for and against the Q-pop culture, provided all kinds of arguments for the positive and negative aspects of modern Kazakhstani culture that excited young people.

The Center for Simulation and Educational Technologies of the NAO “Medical University of Karaganda” is a leader in providing simulation education not only domestically but also abroad. In 2017, the work of the Center was recognized as "Excellence in Simulation" and is accredited by the ASPIRE of the European Association for Medical Education (AMEE).
