On April 18, the online work day continued. Despite Saturday, it was busy in a businesslike way. In the morning, a COVID-19 patient care training was held, and at 11 o’clock a meeting began with the deputy akims of regions and cities of Kazakhstan, as well as with the heads of regional and city hospitals to discuss the experience of Chinese doctors in combating coronavirus infection at the national and regional levels of People's Republic of China.

The fourth day of the Chinese delegation’s work in Karaganda began with an online training on patient care COVID-19. Moderator of the meeting Professor B.N. Kosherova emphasized that the issues of caring for patients with a respiratory infection caused by the SARS_Cov-2 virus are quite new for us, so the experience of our Chinese colleagues will be very useful.

On April 17, in accordance with the visiting program , a delegation of doctors from China visited the molecular genetic laboratory of the Medical University of Karaganda. This laboratory was created by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan and carries out major fundamental and applied scientific research.

The second day of the delegation of Chinese doctors in the Karaganda region began with an examination of the infectious diseases hospital, in which one of the buildings of the hospital complex of the clinic named after prof. Makazhanova located at the street S.Seifullin. Colleagues from China approved the implemented project and gave practical advice on the functioning of the future Multidisciplinary Infectious Diseases Hospital.

A delegation of doctors from China arrived to the Karaganda region under the agreement of the Head of State K.K. Tokaev with the President of the People's Republic of China, Mr. Xi Jinping, on the full support of Kazakhstan from China in the fight against the new coronavirus infection COVID-19, . It consists of infectious disease doctors, pulmonologists, nephrologists, intensive care physicians and a head nurse with experience in the fight against the new coronavirus infection COVID-19.
