Оn December 20, a sport New-year masquerade took place in the Palace of sports of N. Abdirov. The masquerade is an evening party with dances, the participants of that are dressed in fancy dresses and masks. In this connection, the condition of entrance was a mask and full dress. Anyone who wanted, independently whether he lived in №1 dormitory or not, could participate in New-year masquerade. The masquerade began at 17:00 and lasted for about 5 hours.

Оn December, 26 under the direction of deputy dean of faculty of general medicine and stomatology A.S.Baimenova and by the sector of mercyof CSSG E.Azizova activists of the 4th year of faculty of General medicine and stomatology decided to felicitate on coming New Year the pupils of boarding-school for children with limit possibilities.

On December 24, 2014, the graduates from the specialty dentistry and orthopedic dentistry of KSMU medical college passed the practical skills’ checking on the basis of KSMU dental clinic.

The last Tutorial classes on Sociology in groups PH (Public Healthcare) 1-002 and GM (General Medicine) 2-070 were held as interactive in leaving 2014 (instructor is a docent of Department of History of Kazakhstan and SPD A.M. Abikenova). The interactive classes were held as the online webinars.

On the New Years’s eve, the Department of educational and social work, together with students-activists conducted a traditional new-year action – they congratulated subdivision, dean's offices, departments and administration of the university with the upcoming holidays.

New Year is coming! The department of educational and social work together with the sector of mercy of CSSG (Committee of students self-government) conducted the annual action for children with disabilities "New Year in Child's House". Almost 90 thousand tenge was collected during the action. Sweet prizes and new-year gifts were bought on that funds received for the pupils of child's house.

Research and instructional methodology workshop was held on December 9, 2014.From now on, Educational Board of KSMU and its Center for Analysis and Innovations in Medical Education will organize such workshops every three months. Their primary purpose is to create a platform for discussion of educational process in our University, sharing experience and enhance the education.
