Remarkable holiday - championship of the university on futsal was organized by sport club of KSMU together with PA"Independent labour union of employees and students of КSMU". During two months, every week-end hot football battles took place in the gym №2 (32,Erubaeva) - seven combined teams of dormitories of КSMU + KSU-team, found out who was the strongest on the football field.

The department of educational and social work organized the solemn ball-competition "In the rhythm of waltz" in N.Abdirov sport palace. The main aim of this event is development of the students` creative capabilities, forming of aesthetic taste, and searching of new talents.

On the eve of New 2015 year the traditional New Year’s Eve for activists of the faculty was held at the faculty of Preventive medicine, biology and pharmacy. Dwarf, Santa and Snow Maiden came to congratulate our students with holiday. That evening was full of warm, kind words and songs.

On December, 20, the rector of КSMU, professor R.S.Dosmagambetova met with students, that distinguished themselves in public life of the university. On this meeting Raushan Sultanovna congratulated present people with coming New Year, and rewarded the 25 best sportsmen and activists the memorable prizes.

On the 15th of December in the Assembly Hall of KSMU took place solemn meeting devoted to the celebration of the 23 anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. At the beginning of the event pro-rector for educational work Wilen Borisovich Molotov-Luchansky had been invited on stage. Then congratulatory remarks had been made by the rector of the university, professor Raushan Sultanovna Dosmagambetova.

On December 12, 2014, a research and practical interuniversity conference “Young people are the support of our future”, spearheaded by Karaganda State Medical university, ANK of Karaganda region, the expert group of the party curator, member of the regional maslikhat R.S. Dosmagambetova, was held in the university.

The scientific work of L. Muravlyova, V. Molotov-Luchanskiy, D. Klyuev, N. Chaykovskaya and Ye Kolesnikova “Physico-chemical properties of red blood cells of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease of different forms and severity level” was awarded the Gold medal of the International Educational Exhibition (7-9 October 2014, Moscow).

2014 will be remembered forKVN-players of KSMU for a long time. The first in the history,our KVN-team reached the finale of republican major league "Zhaydarman".It is needed to mark that the last time of similar success KVN of Karaganda was achieved in the distant 2007 . At that time our city in the final game was represented by a KSU’s team "Uldar emes".
