Оn December 20, a sport New-year masquerade took place in the Palace of sports of N. Abdirov. The masquerade is an evening party with dances, the participants of that are dressed in fancy dresses and masks. In this connection, the condition of entrance was a mask and full dress. Anyone who wanted, independently whether he lived in №1 dormitory or not, could participate in New-year masquerade. The masquerade began at 17:00 and lasted  for about 5 hours. During all this time the audience was in a state of euphoria. That new-year atmosphere, that mood, which reigned in the hall reminded the traditional "Viennese ball" in 1877 year. The students of the seventh year Daribaev Murat and Shaikhitdinova Alina were  the anchors of this event.

Also administration of KSMU was present at the ball, represented by a deputy dean of the second year of faculty of general medicine and stomatology Ospanova Dinara Tuleuvna. The ball begun with the performance of folk group of bellydance "Karakoz" with the dance "Kyz sezymy". The group held the bar high as before and showed classic Kazakh dance even more daintifying and charming this event. The event gone on with the dance of our student from India. Everybody was charmed by this girl. Than a moment that was waited by all audience came. The time to dance waltz had come. About 25 pairs participated in this waltz. All pairs waltzed so skilfully, as if they had to dance in an enormous, decorated as if royal hall not for the 1^st time. This wonderful and graceful choreography  was made by chairman of KSSU dormitories №1 Daribaev Murat. Everybody was delighted by elegantness of this waltz.

Also the representatives of girlsclub of KSMU "Akzhunus" were present at the ball and presented the guests their wonderful work in execution on a violin by Altynai Kerimbayeva. And certainly, the New-year masquerade can’t be held without Father Frost. The Father Frost was also there at the ball with the Snow Maiden. He made happy us by different playfull games, gifts and jokes. This completed the official part of event. The informal part of this event was continued with an evening disco. We are representatives of CSSG of dormitory №1, would like to express the gratitude to administration  of  KSMU represented by the chancellor R.S. Dosmagambetova for the given possibility to conduct this grandiose and unforgettable event. We thank the dean's office of the 2 year of faculty of general medicine and stomatology and for the help to the department of educational and social work with students.
