The training seminar "Social work and social technologies in the public health care"
The training seminar on “Social work and social technologies in the public health care system” was held at the Department of the basics of psychology
and communicative skills with a course of nursing care of KSMU on February 19-21, 2015. The director of SOE on REM "Teaching and
Practical Center of Family Medicine"Demeu", d.m.s. R.A. Abzalova has taken
an active part in the seminar.
Rosa Abzalovna told about world standards of social work, whichare introduced in the center "Demeu" (Astana), she has shown videos of the various pilot projects in primary care.
The head of the Department of the basics of psychology and communicative skills with a course of nursing care Matsiyevskaya Larissa Leonardovna and assistant of the Department Karibaeva Almira Kabidenovna also were the teachers in the seminar,that had told about the practice of social work with vulnerablepopulations, about methods of healthy lifestyle formation.
At the training workshop 46 specialists of social work from many health care facilities of Karaganda region were trained. Feedback of listeners is positive
