The sport competition “Freshman 2014” came to an end in Karaganda state medical university. Yesterday's schoolchildren, and now the students of university competed in seven types of sport. In the first day the strongest teams was determined in basket-ball, chess, checkers and togyzkumalak. And winners in volley-ball, table tennis and shooting were determined nearer by the end of the competitions.

  With large interest the freshmen of university(more than 200 sportsmen) took part in the competitions. The students, not getting in the number of lucky participants actively supported the teams being on tribunes. It is needed to mark that with formation of sport club of KSMU, the development of sport in our university moved to a new quality level. Able coordinating work of department of P.E, in time accenting attention of guidance of institution of higher learning on the problems of development of sport, operating in close touch with an athletic asset and leading sportsmen of university, the sport club sets the problem of gradual advancement of КSMU in the leaders of student sport of Karaganda.

  An important role in realization of competitions was played by the trainer-teaching collective of the department of P.E, whose representatives conducted the arranged judge work during competitions.

  The main judge of the games F.A.Batirov sayd, that such competitions were extremely needed for revelation of young, talented and perspective sportsmen for the university combined teams of different types of sport.

  As a result of sport battles the first place was taken by the freshmen of medical college (by the way, most active team) with 53 points. GМ- III(51 points) was at the second place and the sportsmen of stomatological faculty had to be satisfied by a third place.

  Winners and prizewinners of competitions got certificates. The champions of competitions solemnly got a challenge cup for victory in a team test.
