Implementation of the Address of the President on inclusive health care – in science and practice

On May 24-25, 2024, a scientific and practical conference with international participation "Current issues of clinical, experimental neurology, neurosurgery and neurophysiology" was held in Almaty, which was attended by both foreign speakers (Australia, United States, Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, New Zealand, Germany, Uzbekistan, and Belarus) and local speakers, who highlighted the issues of the latest methods of diagnosis, therapy and rehabilitation of diseases of the nervous system and related pathological conditions.

Much attention was given to the organization of the physical medicine and rehabilitation service, the level of the latest diagnostic strategic and therapeutic approaches in the field of rehabilitation based on international and domestic experience in a separate section, where MD, Professor T.T. Kispayeva from "Karaganda Medical University" NCJSC made a report on "Mobile rehabilitation in cerebral stroke: current state of the problem", presenting the current state of the problem at the national level, highlighting the issues and opportunities of mobile rehabilitation within the framework of the reforming of the nursing service and emphasizing the crucial role of "Karaganda Medical University" NCJSC in solving this issue by training specialists of the nursing specialization at the academic bachelor's level with rehabilitation competencies under the "Nursing in rehabilitation" educational program, which will solve the existing shortage of staff in the field of rehabilitation, especially at the outpatient component level implementing the provision of services to persons with limited mobility, and contribute to the implementation of The Nation Address of the President dated 09/01/2022. "A Fair State. One Nation. Prosperous Society" on improving the quality of care for persons with disabilities. 

Within the framework of the conference, a competition of research works was traditionally held within the "Young Scientist" section among nominees from foreign and domestic medical universities.Two reports on the topic of neurorehabilitation were presented from "Karaganda Medical University" NCJSC: the report "Rehabilitation of cerebral stroke patients with a robotic exoskeleton system" by PhD student M.S.Amirbekova and MSc in Health Sciences M.A.Seitbayeva (scientific advisers: Prof. T.T.Kispayeva, Assoc. Prof. Ausra Adomaviciene (Vilnius, Lithuania) and the report "The influence of PNF technique on therecovery of speech in patients after cerebral stroke" by master student V.Yu.Yablonskaya (supervisor Prof. T.T.Kispayeva).Both reports were highly evaluated by the jury of the competition and received the 3rd prize-winning place. In the nomination "For high achievements in the field of practical healthcare", the work of master student V.Yu. Yablonskaya in the field of neurorehabilitation "The influence of PNF technique on the recovery of speech in patients after cerebral stroke" was highly evaluated and awarded. The winners of the competition were awarded with diplomas.
