Student online conference

 On May 15, the Department of Morphology of the NJSC “KMU” hosted an international scientific student online conference “Human embryonic development in normal and pathological conditions”, in which students and teachers of the Omsk State Medical University, NJSC “Medical University of Karaganda” and the NOU “Medical and Social Institute of Tajikistan".

The chairman of the conference was Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Histology, Cytology and Embryology of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Omsk State Medical University" Viktor Aleksandrovich Akulinin, the co-chairman was the Professor of the Department of Morphology of NJSC "KMU" Galina Urazovna Zhanaidarova. From Tajikistan, the conference was attended by Zufnuna Nazirovna Sohibova, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Histology of the National Educational Institution “Medical and Social Institute of Tajikistan” and 2nd and 5th year students of this university of the Faculty of Medicine.

After the welcoming words of Viktor Aleksandrovich, Associate Professor of the Department of Histology, Cytology and Embryology of Omsk State Medical University Sergeeva E.D. spoke, who spoke about the history of the development of embryology and its modern achievements.

In total, 21 reports were presented at the conference, 10 were oral and 11 posters, which aroused interest among those present and scientific discussion.


Among the oral presentations of students of NJSC “KMU”, the most striking were the following reports: “Embryogenesis of the organs of vision” (Niyazbek T., 1031 group M, scientific supervisor associate professor Berikbaeva B.Kh., 1st place); “The role of electromagnetic radiation in the formation of intrauterine growth retardation syndrome (Kalyuzhny I., 2024 group, Zhumabaeva T., 2028 group M, scientific supervisor Prof. Zhanaidarova G.U., 2nd place); “The influence of ionizing radiation on human embryonic development” (Zhumagaliev A., 2028 group, Topeyko V., 2024 group M, scientific supervisor Prof. Zhanaidarova G.U., 2nd place); “Development and age-related changes of the thymus” (Aitmuldina A., Serik A., 2004 group of pediatrics, scientific supervisor associate professor Esimova R. Zh., 3rd place).

The conference was successful: students gained valuable experience working with scientific literature and speaking at the conference, and broadened their horizons on human embryology.

The results of the international conference were summed up by Viktor Aleksandrovich Akulinin, professor of the Department of Histology, Cytology and Embryology of Omsk State Medical University, who thanked the students and teachers of Kazakhstan, Omsk and Tajikistan for their participation in the work and expressed hope for further cooperation.
