Karaganda Medical University's cooperation with the USA is reaching a new level. Representatives of the U.S. Embassy in the Republic of Kazakhstan visited our University.

At the meeting issues of participation in the program of academic exchange between the USA and Karaganda Medical University, visit of teachers to conduct English language courses (for students, young scientists and faculty) under the program "Fulbright English teaching assistant" were discussed. Special attention was paid to the expansion of opportunities for exchange of U.S. specialists on Fulbright Specialist Program, Fulbright US scholars, University Partnership Programs, Flex, UGRAD.

Our university already participates actively in the Fulbright Specialist Program, Fulbright US Scholars, and Global UGRAD. Professor Nailya Delellis currently works at Karaganda Medical University as a Fulbright US scholar. She gives lectures to doctoral and master's students at the university. Nailya Delellis has been a long-time partner of our university and currently supervises PhD students in EP "Public Health". And the fourth-year student of the "General Medicine" specialty holds the Global UGRAD scholarship and is studying at Xavier University in Louisiana.
