According to the rating of the NCE RK «Atameken» by the end of 2022, the NCJSC «Karaganda Medical University» took the I place in the educational program «Pharmacy», the II place in the direction "Public health", «Technology of pharmaceutical production», the III place in the specialties «General Medicine», «Nursing», IV in the educational program «Dentistry».

The evaluation of educational programs take into account such indicators as, the career prospects of graduates, achievements of students, professional salaries, level of employment, duration of job search.

According to the dean of the School of Pharmacy of the Karaganda Medical University Irina Loseva, demand for graduates of the educational program «Pharmacy» in the labour market is very high; our graduates are willingly employed in large pharmaceutical companies and medical organizations.

The educational program «Pharmacy» passed international accreditation in 2019, entered into the Register of Educational Programs. The Pharmacy School has a very strong teaching staff, most of teachers have extensive practical experience in pharmaceutical fields, as well as get engaged in research work, in which students are also actively involved. There are many fields of application of knowledge and skills for our graduates – they can work in pharmacies, testing laboratories, pharmaceutical production, pharmaceutical companies, pharmaceutical management structure, and may continue their master’s studies.

For the last 4 years, the School of Pharmacy has been accepting college graduates in the specialty «Pharmacy» as well as graduates of bachelor’s degree in related specialties for training educational program «Pharmacy» with a reduced period of education.
