Entrepreneurial meet-up in Nur Sultan

On December 10 and 11, a final meeting was held in the city of Nur-Sultan within the framework of the project “Ecosystem of students’ entrepreneurship”. Entrepreneurial Meetup is an event where students, teachers and employees of regional educational institutions develop new competencies, as well as discuss interesting topics and trends.

Our university was represented by project supervisors - Deputy Dean of the School of Dentistry - Kurkenova Rymgul and Lecturer of the Department of Pharmaceutical Disciplines and Chemistry - Tulebaev Erbolat. And also, ty event was attended by 14 students of the School of Dentistry and the School of Public Health, Biomedicine and Pharmacy, who received the right to participate after the REW-challenge in October at our university.

This year, educational modules were organized for students “Who is the Product Manager and what it does” and “Failures in startups: how to stop being afraid of them and learn how to profit”. Seminars “Using design thinking in the process of teaching entrepreneurial disciplines”, “Personal brand of a teacher in the digital age” and “Proven lessons: what can be learned from the Finnish education system” were held for teachers.

As part of the event, a presentation was made of startups that were launched after the Start-up Championship “ProjectDay” and the Summer Entrepreneurial School “BigIdeasCamp”. The presented projects have results in the form of sales, having traded for sale, first orders and customers.

The participants were especially impressed by the Sensei Room with the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Bank Vyacheslav Morozov and Speed Dating with entrepreneurs, businessmen and top managers of various companies.
