From November 10 to 12, the organization of the Asian Association of Medical Literacy has hosted the conference “The 7th International Health Literacy Conference: Health Literacy in Smart Universal Healthcare” in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam).

The aim of the conference was to bring together public health professionals, politicians, researchers, scientists and students who are interested in medical literacy and public health, to discuss and study national, global and international trends in this direction.

Our university was presented by master student specialty public health Zh.M. Kuanysh, within the framework of the internal grant “Study of young people medical literacy in Karaganda to develop scientifically based recommendations for improving health promotion programs and creating a healthy lifestyle for the population,” as well as the work of the scientific team of the School of Public Health, Biomedicine and Pharmacy delivered by S.R. Zhakenova, G.S. Kayupova, O.K. Zhamantaev N.Zh. Erdesov, Zh.E. Bolatova.
