The issues of the improving of the quality of education were discussed
On October 4-5, 2019, in the city of Turkestan of the
Republic of Kazakhstan at the International Kazakh-Turkish University named
after H.A. Yasavi (IKTU named after H.A. Yasavi) the III Central Asian
International Forum on ensuring the quality of education, organized by the IKTU
named after H.A. Yasavi and the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating
(IAAR).
The purpose of the forum was the exchange of experience and discussion of pressing issues of improving the quality of education in the Central Asian region.
Our university was represented by MD, professor Vilen Molotov-Luchansky; Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Saule Akhmetova; Candidate of Medical Sciences, Professor Bauyrzhan Omarkulov; PhD, Associate Professor Dmitry Matyushko, Head of Quality Management Department Anar Emershina.
In the panel sessions “IAAR / IAAR - assessment of the quality of medical education”, Ph.D., Professor B.Omarkulov spoke on the topic of the report “Virtual Technologies in Medical Education”, which raised the question of virtual technologies used in NAO “MUK”, a virtual patient diagnosed with an acute abdomen according to the TAME project, as well as the issue of training to avoid medical errors.
As a result of the work of the International Forum, a resolution was adopted and certificates were awarded to participants.
At the end of the forum, the IKTU im.H.A.Yasavi organized an excursion to all forum participants. The Turkestan region is famous for holy places, a pilgrimage for which is equal for Muslims to the Hajj in Mecca. Thanks to the forum, we managed not only to gain knowledge and experience, but also visited the ancient settlement of Otrar, the Mausoleum of Arystan-Bab and the Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasavi, plunged into the history of our ancestors.
