May 21, 2019 in Kostanay, in the framework of the Kazakhstan-Russian Youth Forum, EcoSystem Fair & Trackathon, organized by the ERG group of companies and AlmaU University, was held.

The ecosystem of student entrepreneurship is a project aimed at developing entrepreneurial education, improving the entrepreneurial climate and developing the economy of 4 regions of the republic: Karaganda, Aktobe, Kostanay, Pavlodar.

The “Ecosystem of Student Entrepreneurship” project was launched in March 2017 at the initiative of the ERG Company (Eurasian Group) in partnership with Almaty Management University and the Association of Friends of Tel Aviv University in Kazakhstan.

Not everyone can present his project to the President of Kazakhstan and to one of the richest people in the country, I am proud of my students!

Participants of the trekaton present their minimally viable prototypes (MVP) to President Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan and Chairman of the ERG Board of Directors Alexander Mashkevich to receive advice from the head of state and an experienced entrepreneur.

Our university projects: Star Shoes Whitener (Savin Nikita, Gulnaz Kuanyshbayeva, Kim Alexandra), Center for Assistance and Support (Kadirbekov Galymzhan, Dyusenbayeva Zhanerke, Pak Elina, Yerzhanov Azat), Eco-Poof (Korobeinik Timur, Kakenov Azamat, Konysbekov Kayyrbek, Zhamalbek Elnur), “Kara Sabyn” (Ybyray Daulet, Nuraly Shyngys) were presented to ERG shareholders and Forum participants, and also received practical help for further progress from professional trackers.

It should be noted that all the startups presented were developed during the implementation of the “Ecosystem of student entrepreneurship” project, in which for 2 years our university is the only participant from the medical universities of the country and universities of Karaganda region.

Currently, coordinators of student projects at the university are Alexander Urmashov and Bakhyt Rysbekova.

The winners of the Big Ideas Camp-2018, the developers of the Star Shoes Whitener project, presented their product to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of ERG Alexander Mashkevich.

President KZ Tokayev, shaking hands with Nikita Savin, a 4th year student of General Medicine, wished him and his project further progress and success.

As A.Mashkevich noted, the “Ecosystem of Student Entrepreneurship” project is a long-term program of the Group, enabling students to gain knowledge and skills in the field of entrepreneurship:

- Each our step is aimed at fulfilling the instructions of Elbasy - to improve the quality of life of Kazakhstanis. We want the students not to look for a job after graduation, but to create jobs. The Eurasian Group project is an opportunity to ensure the sustainability of our home regions, all those who rely on us.

Currently, Karaganda Medical University is actively working to foster entrepreneurial thinking among students, develop student ideas and initiatives in the field of entrepreneurship, and promote already developed projects in the university's business incubator.
