TRILINGUALISM: METHODS, IMPLEMENTATION, PERSPECTIVES

The implementation of a number of projects of the «Рухани жаңғыру» program relies on the development of trilingualism. The Russian language department was held regional round table "Trilingualism: methods, implementation, perspectives." Representatives of innovative schools and universities of the city discussed topical issues of the methodology of introducing trilingualism in schools and higher educational institutions, especially the implementation and prospects of the state program.

The vice-rector for educational and methodical work of the Medical University of Karaganda Viktor Petrovich Riklefs addressed the participants of the round table with a welcoming speech. He drew attention to the features of the implementation of trilingualism in higher education, in particular, at the Medical University of Karaganda. Alexander Urmashov, Chief Specialist on Youth Work at the Medical University of Karaganda, told about what projects for the implementation of the «Рухани жаңғыру» program are being implemented at the university.

The uniqueness of the content of the round table determined the dialogue of representatives of secondary and  higher education. Discussion of the problem lined up the trajectory of the program from school to university, made it possible to trace the continuity of the methods and approaches in the implementation of the trilingualism program at these two levels of education, as well as their differences. In this case, emphasis was placed on the linguistic and cultural aspect.

The methods of multilingual education at the school were presented by the Deputy Director for profile education of the gymnasium No. 93 E. V. Yunatskaya, the biology teacher of the same gymnasium S. T. Arkonova, the teacher of Russian language and literature of the A. Nurmakov Regional Boarding School for Gifted Children A.A. Temirova, Deputy Director for Specialized Education, Informatics Teacher of Lyceum No.2 E.A. Tsybernyak.

The teacher of the trilingual education unit of the Department of the Trinity of Languages KMU A.A.Aubakirova, senior teachers of the Russian Language Department of the KarSTU B. K. Tungushbaeva and S. M. Tazhibaeva, Associate Professor of the Russian Language and Literature Department named after G.A.Meyramov of KSU named after E.A. Buketov G.M. Khairova and senior teacher of the same department G.U. Ibraev told about how trilingualism is being introduced in universities. Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages and Intercultural Communication of the Bolashak Academy G.Sh. Orazgaliyeva introduced the participants of the round table with the project of creating a trilingual dictionary of biological terms with a linguistic and culturological component. The teachers of the Kazakh, Russian language departments of the KMU drew attention to the use of author techniques and  innovative approaches in the implementation of trilingualism in our university.

At the end of the round table, a resolution aimed at improving approaches to the implementation of trilingualism at the educational level was adopted.
