160 English language grants from the Shakhmardan Yessenov Foundation

The Shakhmardan Yessenov Science and Education Foundation (SEF) and the KMU signed a memorandum of cooperation in connection with the victory of the Karaganda Medical University in the competition for a 2-year program of learning English from native speakers.

This document becomes a starting point for cooperation and implementation of the English language program at the KMU during 2019-2021.

On the day of memorandum signing, the representatives of the Shakhmardan Yessenov SEF conducted an information session with the university staff. During the meeting, the KMU administration and deans learned more about the Foundation activities and details of the English language program implementation.

Active preparation and selection of the program participants will begin in September 2019. For two years, teachers - native speakers are planning to train 160 people: 90 students, 45 teachers, and 25 Master and PhD students.

Detailed information on the participants’ selection in September 2019 will be distributed to the students and teachers through deans, heads of department, and in social media.
