International week staff erasmus + in Vilnius

Vilnius University organized an International week staff from 13 to 17 may 2019.

More than 40 employees of educational institutions from 20 countries took part in the events: Portugal, Italy, Romania, Turkey, Germany, Great Britain, Georgia, Albania, Jordan, Myanmar, Gambia, India, etc.

The international staff exchange week is held in order to expand and deepen cooperation between educational institutions of European countries with partner countries in the framework of the ERASMUS+program. This time the program was aimed at employees of educational institutions involved in the process of internationalization: employees of international departments, departments for working with foreign students, departments for receiving documents, departments of project administration, library staff, as well as staff of faculties coordinating international activities.

The participants of the event had the opportunity to get acquainted with the organization of international cooperation, international project activities and academic exchanges at the University of Vilnius, to exchange experiences and establish new contacts. Participated from the Karaganda Medical University specialist of international cooperation Department Yerimbetova Botagoz Saparovna. During the meeting it was possible to agree on further cooperation in the field of academic mobility of students and teachers in emergency medical care with representatives of the University of Izmir (Turkey, Izmir).  Participation in such an event is undoubtedly a great opportunity to improve your professional level, to introduce advanced foreign experience in the field of internationalization, to establish new contacts for further cooperation and to acquire new partners. A rich cultural program was organized for the participants of the International week: employees of higher education institutions from Europe, Asia and North America visited the cultural and historical places of Vilnius.
