Health championship
On February-April 2019, the games of the XVIII football championship dedicated to the World Health Day were held in the sports complex of the medical university.
8 student teams representing specialties and faculties of the MUK took part in the tournament: “Dentistry” (captain Karimov Zhandarbek), “Surgery” (captain Khalmetov Bakhrom), “Internship” (captain Kairbekov Almat), “Therapy” (captain Nurushev Zharkyn), GP (captain Tolegenov Akzhol), “Pharmaceuticals” (captain Sarsembai Nurdaulet), “Academy” (captain Serikbayev Diyar) and “Pediatrics” (captain Zermukhanbetov Ansar).
For five years, university football championship has been very popular with students. Every week during the academic year, about 90-100 participants compete on the football field for the title of champion. The project conceived as a university championship was transformed into a football academy that stably trained qualified players for the university team and for the regional championship.
From the first round, the leadership in the XVIII championship was captured by the winner of the last two championships, the “Dentistry” team. “Dentistry” didn’t lose in any match confidently won the third championship in a raw. In second place is “Surgery” which defeated “Therapy” 12: 7 in the last-round. On the third place is the “Internship” losing to “Dentistry” 6:7 in the last game.

All team players who took prize-winning
places were awarded the memorable prizes.
There was defined the symbolic team of the championship according to the results of the tournament:
“The Best Goalkeeper” – Beskempir Daniar (“Dentistry”);
“The Best Player” – Maratulu Bektur (“Dentistry”).
In addition, there were introduced additional nominations for encouragement of the participants:
“The Most Technical Player” – Alibekov Ayan (“Pharmaseuticals”);
“The Most Useful Player” – Shaimurat Islam (“Therapy”).
All winners of individual nominations were also awarded with valuable prizes.
