The opening of the Olympics among student youth for the prize of akim of Karaganda region, dedicated to the year of youth, was held at the "Zhastar" stadium on the 25th of February.

9 teams took part in the competition: KMU, KSU, KSTU, KEU, Karaganda Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Bolashak, CKA, KarGIU, Zhezkazgan University n.a. O.A.Baykonyrov.

This year it was decided to hold competitions in 4 stages.  The first stage belongs to the representatives of winter sports - skiers and skaters. Then the sportsmen involved in chess, checkers, togyz-kumalak, table tennis and asyk-atu will perform. The third stage belongs to volleyball, basketball, football, wrestling. Athletics will be the last stage of the sports competition.

Skaters performed on the 27th of February. Our team took the 5th place.

The 28th of February was the day of the massive start at the skiers. We were at 4th place.

Ski relay had place on the March 1. The team of our university took the 4th place.

March 2-3 was the day of Winter Presidential All-Around. We were the fourth, again.

This is the first stage of the sports day. We look forward to the next starts.
