Science-oriented approach

 In the framework of the educational program at the Department of emergency medical care under the direction of Professor A. R. Alpysova the general practitioner interns conducted a lesson on science-oriented learning: there were reports of the results of the analysis of scientific articles from Cochrainelibrary database, PubMed, a student G. Atambuzov presented a scientific work with a phased analysis of the researches. Science-oriented training in the educational process contributes to the development of students’ competence, independence and confidence of graduates.

For interns such training provides an opportunity to acquire under the guidance of the teacher research skills of analysis and review of scientific literature, helps in identifying key research issues, planning research activities, correct interpretation of data and develops the ability to present the results. This approach to learning is particularly relevant at the present time, when the University is seeking to obtain the status of research university to achieve the rankings of world universities.
