Representatives of the SCOPH Committee of the KazMSA Medical Youth Association met with students of the CMU to uncover the essence of social prevention. In this case, it was about such a disease as tuberculosis.
The insidiousness of it is that it can have an acute or chronic (including perennial) course, with periods of exacerbations and subsidence. It has high rates of disability and mortality among the population.
Prevention of tuberculosis includes health, social, hygienic measures aimed at strengthening the health of the population, preventing the occurrence and mass spread of infection. It also implies the timely detection of mycobacterium-infected children, adolescents using the method of annual tuberculin diagnostics, as well as adults through fluoroscopy.
